An Evening To Remember

I remember that day we were together

It was Christmas Eve and love was in the weather

I can't never forget that stroll down the street

For me it was like a complete Christmas treat

I froze when you walked my way

My mind was so restless and I had nothing to say

I never expected you to be so damn good

Literally staring at you there I stood

There was neither candle light nor champagne

A little clouds in the sky as if it’s going to rain

None of us cared about the environment

We were lost in each other walking on the pavement

We talked about things we tell no one

That dabbing of ice cream was so much fun

 The best part was the WALTZ without the music on the street

The innocent look of yours was damn so sweet

We were coming near to the end and you had to go

Still I had so much to say and so much of love to show

There was so much of thrill

We kissed like we invented it

I wish time could have stood still

But these magical moments had to end

I will cherish those moment together we spent

As you walked towards the door I stood there smiling

Thinking one day I am going to marry you

Coz the love and the bonding we share is so true

 And I want to spend rest of my life with you
